Almost all of us scan data with the help of scanners. But since there is no scanner in everyone’s house, one has to take the help of different individuals and organizations to scan the text or picture. However, using the Google Drive app, it is possible to scan all the important information with the smartphone. To scan the data, you must first install the Google Drive app. Android from the address

After installing Google Drive, you need to sign in with Google Account. Now tap on the + (plus) icon at the bottom right, you will see a menu with various options. Scan for Android and Use Camera option for iPhone.

After the camera is turned on, you need to press Allow to allow the Google Drive app to use the camera. Now you have to take pictures of important papers by pressing the photo icon on the smartphone. To use the image on the next screen, Android users have to select OK and iPhone users have to select Use Photo.

After taking a picture, the Google Drive app will automatically adjust the size of the paper as well as edit the light. If you want, you can do things yourself using Crop and Color icons. To add pages to multiple scanned data, select the plus icon next to the Save button or the Add page option.

Once all the pages have been scanned, you need to finish the scan by pressing the Save button. Now you have to select the folder in which you want to keep the scanned file from the Folder section with a name in the Document title field. After pressing the Save button again, the scanned information will be saved in a specific folder.

To view the scanned files, click on the horizontal three line icon in the left corner and press the Recent option. If you want, you can easily save the scanned files to Google Drive and send them to others. To do this, select the Share option by pressing the three dot icons in the upper right corner of the scanned file
