The United States on Saturday launched the Covid-19 vaccine for infants, newborns and preschool students. The vaccine will be given from next week. As a result, the country’s immunization program has expanded to 6-month-old children.

Although the Food and Drug Administration approves the ticker, the CDC decides who should take it.

The vaccine will prevent young children from being hospitalized. The vaccine will also protect against death and potential long-term complications. The CDC’s advisory panel provided such information. Not everything is clear yet about the long-term complications of this disease.
The government is already strengthening the vaccination program. Millions of doses of vaccine have already been procured from doctors, hospitals and community health clinics across the country.
An estimated 16 million children will be considered eligible for re-vaccination. However, it remains to be seen how many people actually get vaccinated. Since the launch of the immunization program for 5-11 year olds last November, only less than one-third of those children have been vaccinated so far
