Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Dhaka to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The Prime Minister and her entourage left the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport a little after 10:30 am on a Bangladesh Biman VVIP flight.
Bangladesh High Commissioner to UK in London Sadia Muna Tasnim will welcome the Prime Minister and his entourage. Commonwealth Secretary General Patricia Scotland will pay a courtesy call on the Prime Minister at his hotel on September 16. Later, UK Minister for South Asia, North Africa, United Nations and Commonwealth Affairs Lord Ahmed will meet the Prime Minister.

On September 17, Sir Keir Starmer, Leader of the UK Opposition and Labor Party, will pay a courtesy call on the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister will also attend a royal reception for heads of state and government at Buckingham Palace on September 18.
On September 19, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey. The Prime Minister is scheduled to leave London for New York on a special Bangladesh Biman flight the same evening.

The Prime Minister will be welcomed at the John F. Kennedy International Airport by the Ambassador of Bangladesh to the United States, Muhammad Imran, and the Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the United Nations, Muhammad Abdul Muhith.
On September 20, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the reception of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres. He will also participate in the opening ceremony of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly. He will hold bilateral meetings with UNHCR’s Filippo Grandi and President of Slovenia Barut Pahor.

The Prime Minister will attend the reception of US President Joe Biden on the same day.On September 21, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend a high-level program on ‘Sustainable Housing’ organized by Bangladesh, Botswana, Slovak Republic and the United Nations.On September 23, the Prime Minister will address the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
