Newshub18 :Singer Adele shares she was ‘one man’s shell’ after canceling Vegas Residency
Adele says she felt like “a person’s shell for a few months” after dropping her “Weekend with Adele” Las Vegas Residency in January – just days before it started.
In an interview with Desert Island Disc on BBC Radio 4, the singer said he felt guilty for the frustrated listeners who paid thousands of dollars to attend.
“I just had to wait for it and just regret it, I guess, the shows had to mourn and overcome guilt, but it was brutal,” Adele said.
Adele first broke the news of the cancellation tearfully in a video posted on her Instagram, where she told fans that the dates would be rescheduled in an additional informative way to come.
It wasn’t just the ticket holders who were devastated when Adele had to cancel her Las Vegas residency.
Now he says he “certainly felt everyone’s frustration” and “devastated” and “afraid to disappoint them”.
“I thought I could pull it together and make it work and I couldn’t. I’m adamant about that decision,” Adele said. “I don’t think any other artist would have done what I did and I wonder why it was such a huge, huge story.”

“I’m not just going to do a show because I have to do it or people will be disappointed or we’ll lose a lot of money,” he added.
