Newshub18: Royal Enfield is bringing eight new bikes, see what their features will be.Royal Enfield is currently working on several new motorcycles, which are slated to be launched in the future. The company has come up with the J-platform motorcycle, which has gained acceptance in the market and is also performing very well on the 650 cc platform, where the company is going through multiple issues at the moment. Royal Enfield is currently working on a total of eight bikes, let’s take a look at several essential facts about those bikes.
Bullet 350
The company is going to bring another new bike on the J-platform, the Bullet 350. The upcoming bike is going to replace the current UCE Bullet 350. It is believed that this motorcycle will be launched above the newly launched Hunter 350. Its engine and chassis will be shared with the Classic 350. But its design will be more basic.
Himalayan 450
Royal Enfield is also working on a new Himalayan. It will be more powerful than the current model. The bike will have a displacement of 450 cc, while the current model has a capacity of 411 cc. More importantly, the Himalayan 450 offers a liquid-cooled engine. This is the first time a Royal Enfield bike will feature a liquid-cooled engine.
Scram 450
Royal Enfield is also going to bring a naked version of the Himalayan 450. This Scram 450 bike will have alloy wheels and will be more road-friendly. Instead of the USD fork, the bike will be offered with a telescopic fork. The seats will have a single-piece design and the bike will also have small wheels.
Super Meteor 650
The Super Meteor 650 is going to be Royal Enfield’s flagship cruiser. So the riding triangle is built for cruising, with forward-set footpegs, an up-swept handlebar and a scooped-out seat.
Shotgun 650
Royal Enfield recently showcased the SG650 concept model. Its production version is going to be called Shotgun 650. The bike will share its underpinnings with the Super Meteor. The bike will feature a single seat, chopped fenders and center-set foot pegs. This Shotgun 650 bike is going to be the new flagship motorcycle for Royal Enfield.
Scrambler 650
The bike was recently spotted on road testing in Chennai. It is a scrambler-designed bike, with spoked wheels, a single-piece seat and side-mounted exhaust.
Two more bonuses
The Continental GT 650 with alloy wheels and new tail lamp design has also been road tested. Another Continental GT 650 is testing, which has a cowl. Both these bikes may be offered as accessories in the future
