HMD Global, the maker of Nokia smartphones, is bringing a 5G handset to India, called the Nokia G60 5G. The company has already confirmed that this 5G handset will be launched in India soon. Besides, the company has also informed that pre-orders of the phone will be available in India even before that.
Nokia Mobile India took to Twitter today to confirm the upcoming 5G smartphone launch. .In the tweet, the company wrote, “Get ready for the launch of Nokia G60 5G tomorrow with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP triple AI camera, high-speed 5G connectivity and several years of hardware and software support. Pre-booking and some exclusive offers are coming soon. #NokiaG605G #Nokiaphones #LoveTrustKeep.”
A few hours before the official launch, the company has listed this phone with specifications on its official website.
The Nokia G60 5G phone has a 6.58-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080X2400 pixels. The refresh rate of this handset is 120Hz and the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 layers.
In terms of performance, the 5G enabled smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, which is paired with up to 6GB of RAM. The phone has an internal storage of up to 128GB, which can be further expanded using a microSD card.
As software, the phone will run on Android 12 based operating system. The phone has a triple rear camera setup. The rear panel houses a 50MP main sensor, 5MP ultra wide angle lens and 2MP depth sensor. This phone has an 8MP front facing sensor for selfies and video calling
