Mike Pence can beat Trump in the 2024 Republican primary!

Newshub18 :Mike Pence can beat Trump in the 2024 Republican primary!.

Former President Donald Trump or former Vice President Mike Pence, the Republican candidate in the 2024 presidential election? Or someone else? Neither Trump nor Mike Pence has announced that he will run in the 2024 White House election. But both have a good chance of competing. The results of various polls so far indicate that Pence can’t do very well against Trump.

On Thursday, June 17, the House Committee planned to investigate the January 8, 2021 riots in the US Capitol. It has decided to shed light on various allegations, including that Trump tried to pressure Pence by failing to verify the results of the 2020 presidential election. Trump’s alleged actions are being examined as one of the main possible causes of the riots, at which time Pence’s life was threatened.

Pence and Trump have had a strained relationship since leaving the White House because of the former vice president’s decision not to interfere in the certification of President Joe Biden’s election victory.

In the summer of 2021, Pence called January 8 a “dark day” at a Republican dinner. At the time, he said, he and Trump would never again be seen eye to eye at an event. Trump, meanwhile, said in an interview last month that he was “very disappointed” that Pence did not support electoral fraud.

Trump is a divisive figure in American politics. Even then, various surveys show that he is far ahead of Pence. In the May 18-19 Harvard CAPS / Harris poll, 41 percent of registered Republican / Independent voters said they would vote for Trump if the 2024 GOP primary was held today. Only 7 percent said they would support Pence.

Earlier in late January, Trump also won a speculative GOP primary in the Harvard CAPS / Harris poll. The former president received 56 percent support from potential Republican primary voters in that poll, with Pence supporting 11 percent.

These results are almost identical to those of the Reuters / Ipsos survey earlier this month. A Reuters / Ipsos poll found that Trump received 54 percent of the estimated primary voters and Pence 6 percent.

Pence has not yet said whether he will run in the 2024 election. However, he did not rule out the possibility. Trump, however, said he would not worry if Prince contested. People are very disappointed with Mike Pence. If he contests the election, I don’t think it will be a problem.

If Pence finally decides to run in the election, he could face competition from Florida Governor Ron Desantis. Although Desantis has not yet announced his candidacy. But he is considered a popular choice among many voters, including tech billionaire Elon Musk. Elon Musk has already expressed his support for Desantis.

In a Harvard CAPS / Harris poll last May, Decentis received 12 percent of the vote in an estimated primary of GOP candidates, including Pence and Trump. If Trump is not a candidate, who would potentially support GOP primary voters? However, the idea is that Pence could defeat Trump in the GOP primary of the 2024 presidential election
