Mehmud Khan, president of Jamalpur Panchayat Samiti joined the Bhai Fota program of Mahinder Tarama Trust this year like every year. Jamalpur Police Station Second Officer Tapas Sheel, Paratal 1 Panchayat Pradhan Uttam Hazari and Trust Leader Bapin Ghosh were present. Tarama Trust mainly organizes Bhai Fona program with many child of the area. Brothers who don’t have sisters or sisters who don’t have brothers are basically brought here and brother drops are given and taken. Mehmood Khan and the guests present were given bhai fota by the women of the area. Mehmood Khan said that every year he comes to this Tarama Trust’s brotherhood event. He felt a different feeling when he came here.
Later, women from different groups of the block, women members including panchayat samiti office bearers, women members of different panchayats gave brotherhood to Mehmood Khan at the block party office. They said that on this brother’s day, the sisters wished their brothers well by putting drops on their foreheads.
Mehmood Khan says it’s a really different feeling to have all the women in the block coming and sistering him. He handed over a saree to each of the sisters.
