Meta’s former chief operating officer (COO) Sheryl Sandberg is married. She got married to American businessman Tom Bernthal last Saturday in Wyoming, USA. Bernthal is a former NBC news producer and founder of consulting firm Kelton Global. News from NDTV.
Sheryl and Bernthal announced their wedding by posting a photo on Instagram. In the picture, they are holding each other’s hands in a beautiful natural environment. Cheryl wrote the word ‘Married’ in the caption of the picture.
Regarding the marriage, Bernthal said that they had been in a relationship for three years. Their dreams have been fulfilled in marriage.
Bernthal and Sherrill were both previously married. Sherrill is married to Dave Goldberg, CEO of SurveyMonkey. Goldberg died in 2015 at the age of 47. Meanwhile, Bernthal was separated from his ex-wife. Sandberg and Goldberg have two children. Meanwhile, Bernthal has three children from his first marriage. In addition to children, close friends were present at the wedding.
Earlier this year, Sandberg announced he was stepping down as Meta’s chief operating officer. On August 1, Javier Olivan replaced Sandberg as COO. Sherrill will continue to serve as a Mater employee until Sept. 30. Sherrill said at the time of his resignation that he would continue to serve on Mater’s board of directors.
