According to a source familiar with the incident, the Wall Street Journal reported that Elon Musk, the co-founder of the US electric car manufacturer Tesla, was seen with Sergey Brin’s wife Nicole Sanahan in Miami in early December. This ended the long friendship of Sergey Brin (48) with Elon Musk (51). Breen later filed for divorce from Sanahan in January. Brin helped Tesla through the 2008 recession.
Sanahan was seen with Musk at Art Basel in Miami in December, the daily reported. Later, in an event, Musk apologized to Brin for this.
Sergey Brin and Sanahan are currently in talks to finalize their divorce. Brin’s wife Sanahan wants $1 billion for divorce.
The Wall Street Journal reports, however, that Brin’s personal investment in Musk’s company is unknown. It is not clear whether Brin sold those shares or not.
