Bollywood industry is going through a very tough time. Every day there is a storm of ‘Boycott Bollywood’ in the net world. And its impact is going directly to the box office. Recently, the films of superstars like Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar have failed at the box office. Meanwhile, the voices of boycotting Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Brahmastra’, Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’ have been raised on the net. Salman Khan’s name is also included in this boycott march.
Bollywood has lost billions of rupees due to covid. This time, the ‘Boycott Bollywood’ storm has joined like a poison boil on God. Recently, Aamir’s ‘Lal Singh Chadha’, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rakshabandhan’ and other films have gone viral. So worry lines on the forehead of Bollywood stars and producers. Salman recently announced the release date of his much awaited film ‘Tiger 3’. The film is scheduled to release next Eid. And since then, netizens have boycotted the third season of the highly hit franchise ‘Tiger’.
Earlier ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ did good business. Salman’s film means a lot of box office calculations are turned upside down. Films like ‘Sultan’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ have proved it. But after the #BoycottTiger3 trend, Salman’s fans are worried. Detractors posted a long list of the Bollywood superstar’s crimes on social media. The list includes hit and run cases ranging from slapping actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Even an old video of Salman is going viral. Detractors alleged that in the video, Salman advocated saving Pakistani extremists.
Netizens complain that Bollywood is tarnishing the image of Indian culture. Meanwhile, fans of late Bollywood hero Sushant Singh Rajput have also joined the ‘Boycott Bollywood’ trend. Sushant’s fans have called for a boycott of all Bollywood films. Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Vikram Vedha’ is also in this list.
‘Tiger 3’ is being produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films. Katrina Kaif is opposite Salman in this film.
Directed by Manish Sharma, this action-packed film will feature Emraan Hashmi as the villain. ‘Tiger 3’ will be released on the occasion of Eid next year on April 21. Shahrukh Khan will be seen as a cameo in this film. Meanwhile, Yash Raj Films is also bringing the film ‘Pathan’. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and many others are in this film. Salman will be seen as a guest artist in the film ‘Pathan’. This film will also be released next year
