Recruitment process for Indian Army Agniveer has started in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The District Information Officer of Nagpur said this on Saturday. According to the information provided by the officer, about 60,000 candidates who are interested in getting the job have registered. Agnipath project will be recruited in the Indian Army for a certain number of years. As soon as the central government announced this appointment, there were protests across the country.

Before Nagpur, a recruitment rally for fire fighters was organized at Hisar in Haryana on 14 August. The rally went on for several days. Similarly, the Indian Army arranged pre-training for the youth of villages along the Line of Control in Uri division of Jammu and Kashmir to become eligible to join the Agniveer scheme.
On June 14, the central government approved Indian youths to join the Indian Army under the Agnipath scheme. The youth who join the army under this scheme are called Agniveer. This scheme has been launched to provide opportunities to the youth who are patriotic and motivated to serve the country. The youth of the country can join the army for four years under this scheme. Four years, 25 percent of the total fire fighters will be inducted into the army on the basis of skill and merit.

This initiative has been taken to increase the number of soldiers in the Indian Army. The Center has announced that a one-time lump sum will be given to fire fighters on retirement from service after four years. In addition to this, skill certificates will also be given to them
